Description
Star concertinas are a staple of polka music of all styles, from Czech
to Polish, and are often the concertina of choice for
Slovenian-style musicians. Some of the best known concertina players
out the Milwaukee area played or still play Star concertinas, such as
Concertina Millie, Don
Gralak, Bryan O'Donnell, Al Roberts, and Dave Stolowski. This one was
owned by Al Roberts, and it can be heard on his albums recorded in the
late 1960s.
